Concupiscence

Let me enwrap you into my warm bossom Like the wind enveloping a budding yellow blossom let me shower you with honey-sweet kisses That will surely silence those little moans and hisses Let me unleash on you my fiery hot passion That sears through my shies unveiling my love and devotion Let me drown you deep into the trenches of my core Where the mighty tremors rock unseen from the silent shore Let me engulf your senses in my musky fragrant dew That clings onto my pores with a tang of delectable brew Let me melt in your arms like the virgin hilltop snow That starts with gentle trickle but ends in tempestuous flow

Civilisation - See-We-(Reali)sation

Forceful laughter, forwarded jokes, Empty playgrounds, sauna sweat soaks, When the screen flashes, "That's all folks", That’s really what we have, an orderly chaos. Maternity doesn't mean motherhood now, it's just a long leave that company's allow, Antiques now include a gas burner stove, Ready-made microwave food we love. Home is no longer a family place, It's just where we hide our make-up-less face, Work never happens at the normal pace, It's just a never-ending, hopeless case. The sun now rises with the alarm call, We live in shadows of skyscrapers tall, Farmland is just the supermarket stall, Time is just the big clock on the wall. Love is just a mood, not a feeling, Of two bodies on bed under a ceiling, Smiles and affection lost power of healing, Needles and knives sing health dealing. Can you still put a toe out of the lines? or are you just afraid on the land mines? Can you still hear your...

A Sunrise

A chill was emanating all around, It was just the sunrise in the morn', I got up and know what I found? The leaves and grass just new born. I peered through the window sill, The sky was blue and golden cake, the world was in the bed still, while I was wide awake. The cuckoo started a lovely ballad, which was a lovely song, I listened to it in a fad, and got lost in, for so long. The nature was fresh and lively then, I was tempted to be with it, but the alarm bought me back to my ken, to a clumsy world around me knit. I longed to be with the nature lush, I pined for hills, valleys n streams, I whined for those rains which gush, and the warm sun rays that gleam.

Love me as I am

looking into the mirror i saw my reflection and then i found a truth its nowhere near perfection though i see it everyday though i know how i look i never saw a flaw in it maybe thats the way i took but today, u made me see the flaws the scars etched in i stood shell shocked at this felt like i committed a sin no matter how i look i had confidence in me but today my reflection is as repulsive as it can be the sparkle in my eyes bubbly bounce when i walked my spirited composure vanished the moment we talked does beauty matter in love i asked myself today will it vanish then in future when oldness makes its way i may not be attractive i may not be beautiful but i confidently dare you to find the one more dutiful will anyone ever be able to love you more than i do but now the love for you's gone 'coz i love myself more than you

Supporting a Choice

People talk a lot about making a choice. How difficult it is, how hard it is, how mind-racking it is, how nerve-wrecking it is, etc-etc. Some choices we make to better our situation, some we make to get out of a situation, while some we make nonchalantly, some we make for a higher purpose and so on. Every choice has Yin and Yang side. It doesn't always mean that a choice has good and bad sides. It merely has advantages and disadvantages. If a choice offers more advantages, one simply opts for it. But sometimes, we simply make a choice not because its advantageous, but it is morally right. For example, a desperate man stole medicines for his ailing wife. He is a righteous man, so he surrenders himself to the law. He made a choice of surrendering himself, because it is simply the right thing to do. Another time, a student has to choose between two equally competent colleges. He looks at the advantages of each college offers to him and then decides. Here he makes a suita...

Listening to your Conscience..

Many a times, we hear our elders saying, "Don't go against your conscience, 'coz it will land you in trouble". But most of the time, we do actually go against it and end up making a lot of mistakes. And then we say proudly, "I learnt from my mistake". But why make a mistake and learn, when our conscience clearly tells us that it is a mistake already. Being human, we tend to be curious towards what is denied to us. So, when our conscience says, "You shouldn't be doing this", we seldom pay attention and go on to do it anyway. This sometimes results in huge blunders or rarely accidental success. But first lets know, What is CONSCIENCE? It is a set of instinctual principles that is inherent to all sane human beings. Some might call it as MORAL sense and some might acknowledge it as the Speech-of-Soul. Whatever be it, it is an inner voice, which calls out when we are doing something unacceptable and points out a better way.  People s...

You are a Girl...

Normally, I try my best not to discriminate between genders. But almost every day, I face the discrimination, either to my advantage or to a worrisome disadvantage.  In a country where Boys are assumed to be a more productive offspring than Girls, it is not surprising to face gender discrimination. But still, it surprises me every time I face it, because even for trivial matters, people start discriminating. I was brought up in a liberal household, given freedom from discrimination, until I came to what they deemed as "marriageable age". Roaming out after hours was not allowed, staying at even close friend's place for too long was forbidden, talking with guys outside family wasn't allowed, dressing conservatively was a must and suddenly, being religious and offering pujas for getting a good husband was top priority. And then came the topic of Dowry. To someone as me, who grew up thwarting guys in education, having a bunch of girls as friends who are exce...
